Trisha Joy Bings is an emerging Canadian artist whose paintings are inspired by the beauty and diversity of the natural world, reflecting spirituality and the mystery of life.
Born in 1980, Trisha was encouraged from childhood to express her art. She is self taught, driven by the passion to paint and to explore new techniques and subjects. Working with mainly acrylics and larger canvases allows her to express her ideas in a colorful and energetic way. Trisha currently lives in Victoria, B.C. with her almost-4-year-old twins boys, Sage and Leo. She spends her time divided between caring for her boys, painting, studying towards her social work degree, volunteering, entertaining friends and family, and keeping herself grounded with meditation and yoga.
