H&H story from K.C.

A black & white photo, K.C. is standing on the ocean front. She has bangs and a bob haircut and is wearing a white t-shirt.

I have been a member of the Heart and Hands community since September 2014.

I had never had acupuncture done before and was apprehensive based on the common misconceptions many people have. Upon walking through the doors at Heart and Hands, I was instantly put at ease by the practitioners and the communal space.

I suffered a sudden traumatic bereavement and have found that, to date, acupuncture is one of the only things that helps my body and mind work through the complicated grief process. I felt very tense and sore as my body was in survival mode and my mind was racing.

Nothing relieved this physical and mental pain until I tried acupuncture. I notice when I don’t have acupuncture now and find instant lasting relief from each session. I appreciate the accessibility of the service and the practitioners as well as the mental clarity I receive with each session regardless of what individual issue we tackle during the hour.

The healing I have experienced in this space is invaluable and I am forever grateful for that.

K.C.
