I moved to Victoria in June 2015, looking for a softer, more natural world than the high rises of Toronto. When I expressed an interest in exploring the healing power of acupuncture, my cousin (a long-time Victoria resident) told me about Heart & Hands, calling it “the sweetest place ever”. Well, she was right. I was instantly won over by the warmth of each practitioner, as they lovingly worked with me to solve both emotional and physical concerns that arose over the months.
When you are there in the chair, you feel like the only one in the room. You receive each practitioner’s undivided attention, genuine empathy, and uncanny ability to remember personal details you’ve related in the past. Each treatment session is tailored to ‘what you’d like to work on today’ and I have found a healthy mix of emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical healing at H&H. I have gone there in times of strength and in times of sorrow. And I always leave feeling refreshed, relaxed, and understood. My life would not be the same without them!
