Introducing Cydney Smith R.Ac.!

Without further adieu, we finally have Cydney Smith, R.Ac. joining the H&H acupunks team in January 2022!

Cydney (she/her), studied Acupuncture and Moxabustion at Eight Branches Academy of Eastern Medicine from 2015 to 2017. She recently moved to Vancouver Island in 2020 and is living in the Traditional Territories of the Costal Salish Peoples, specifically the Pauquachin First Nation and Tseycum First Nation. Cydney is originally from Toronto, ON, the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. 

Her first experience in a community acupuncture setting was in 2018, at Toronto Reproductive Acupuncture Clinic, working with IVF and IUI, labour induction & cervical ripening, and other reproductive health issues. Currently she is studying the Si Yuan Balance Method, that will help her clients with pain, digestive problems, and many other diseases.

Cydney is excited for the opportunity to continue honing her skills, returning to practice within the Community Acupuncture model and is looking forward to being in service to our diverse and dedicated H&H community!
