Thanks for everything you do and did to support us and this pregnancy.

Hi Christina,

Friday the 12th Saylix Wilder (“Wilder”) was born at 8:51pm weighing 8 lbs 05 oz.

I was over 41 weeks so I did acupuncture with a different person (Matt, who is lovely) then we emailed with on Wednesday and then again at 1:30 on Friday trying an electronic stimulation induction and then went for a walk. While eating dinner I felt a pop just after 6pm and soon realized my water broke. I called the birth team before contractions started and with in about 15 min they had started 2 min apart just like last time.

We had a home birth in the water and the midwife did great with the double cord wrap around Wilder’s neck and all went well. Kids were present as well as H and our donor :)

The night the baby was born, H and I had a long talk about how wonderful of a practitioner you are. How you balance kind, caring, nurturing with bad ass and community organizing.

Thanks for everything you do and did to support us and this pregnancy.
Warmest regards,
D.A. & fam
