From Lekwungen Territories to the ancestral territory of the K’ómoks First Nation, a Community Acupuncture connection

This thank you card was gifted to Christina by a new acupuncture grad, Erica, who had the opportunity to participate in clinical observation and run our front desk reception from October 2023 – February 2024.

Dear Christina,
It’s been a real pleasure working alongside you these past few months. Thank you for giving me the incredible opportunity to shadow you, as well as work the front desk, and genuinely feel like part of the H&H fam.

I’ve really appreciated how generous you’ve been with sharing resources, information, tips + tricks, and anything at all that you feel could be helpful + supportive as I make my way up to the Valley to begin my own acupuncture offering.

Seeing what’s possible in the community acupuncture space has been really inspiring! I’ll never forget being so impressed by the end of my first shadow shift after seeing you treat 17 patients in four hours! (Then you went on to tell me you used to see/treat more than that pre-COVID times!!!). One of my favorite parts of working at the front desk is seeing the before + after of when a person heads into the treatment space and how they emerge out of it :)

You are truly a gift to this community, and it’s been beautiful having been able to witness your impact on the people who seek your care, skill, and the collective healing space you cultivate here.

What you’ve created at H&H is very special and feels really authentic. I will take away so many nuggets of gold from this experience + truly hope to create and offer something similar on my acupuncture path.

Thank you for your mentorship + comraderie, Christina. I consider myself very lucky to have observed your highly efficient + effective BSA (plus your own additions, sprinklings + methods) treatments.

I hope we can continue cultivating this new friendship + colleague-ship into the future.

With utmost respect + gratitude,
Erica
