Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle hands-on treatment for the whole body, mind and spirit. Performed on a massage table, lying on the back or side, the client is fully clothed and the touch is generally light and still. The treatment is largely perceptual in nature and focuses on recognizing and supporting the health of the whole being, especially the nervous system. As the nervous system relaxes, in response to being held by non-invasive skilled hands, the inherent healing plan begins to unfold, presenting subtle rhythmic fluid movements throughout the body. After a session clients often express feeling a sense of wholeness, relaxation, an increased or newfound experience of embodiment and renewed energy.

BCST practitioners listen deeply to the stories of the body, creating a safe container for the client’s system to settle and resource in order to bring itself back into balance. This process helps to release the effects of stress, injury and trauma and can offer relief for those living with anxiety, PTSD, concussion, neuralgia, migraines, insomnia, digestive struggles, chronic fatigue and more. Come give it a try!

Aviva is from the prairies, where she spent the last decade in service to her community working as a birth and postpartum doula, paving the way for her Quantum Midwifery study and practice. During this time Aviva cultivated the art of holding space, witnessing transformation and learning to trust deeply in the body. Aviva believes in the power of non-judgmental, consensual, self-directed, accessible care.
