BC Vaccine Pass
We are currently not part of BC Vaccine Passport mandate at this time, but ALL other COVID protocols remain in place. We are awaiting updates from the provincial government as this policy may change in the coming weeks.
Masking policies & what to do if you are feeling ill
A firm reminder that the requirement for wearing masks is still in place for health care facilities as outlined by the province’s COVID-19 reopening plan. COVID variants are a growing concern, so we must remain vigilant.
Many of our fellow acu-nappers and members of the community have yet to receive the 1st vaccine dose and to consider that there are individuals who are medically vulnerable (ie. cancer patients, pregnant clients, immunocompromised clients) that we need to continue protecting.
We thank you in advance for continuing to mask up during your community acupuncture sessions and if you forget, we have medical masks for sale for $2.
The policies listed below adhere to standards of the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of BC as well as WorkSafeBC. And we thank you in advance for your patience, these policies are subject to change and will continue to evolve based on public health advisories.
If you are feeling ill (ie. fever, sore throat, cough, or difficulty breathing), STAY HOME so that your condition does not worsen as well as preventing further transmission. Use the BCCDC COVID-19 Self-Assessment Tool or call the nurses hotline at 8-1-1 if you require further medical advice.
For more information, please follow the guidelines from HealthLinkBC.
