Seeking a practicing Herbalist to offer sliding scale consultations

Heart & Hands is seeking a practicing herbalist to offer sliding scale consultations in collaboration with Green Muse Herbs!

Our shelves are overflowing with plants… dried, garbled, ground, macerated, infused, shaped, steeped… and we need your help to get them into the hands of the people who would most care for them whilst also being open to being cared for by them. The majority of our extracts are now handmade by herbalists with over a decade of medicine-making experience, in addition to the plants themselves being grown by them or by local farmers. Fresh herb 1:2s + a growing selection of alc-free extracts… this is the apothecary I have longed for since first beginning my studies at Pacific Rim College in 2011. 

We are seeking both clinical + cultural herbalists and are open to tailoring your accessible care offerings so that they may be grounded in your specific experiences + relationships with plants. You would be a part of the Heart & Hands Health Collective team whilst working closely with myself, owner/operator + apothecary of Green Muse Herbs.

At this time we are prioritizing practioners who have specific skills + lived experience related to working with underserved communities, such as gender affirming + expansive care, long covid care, care that can be offered in languages other than English, as well as practitioners who are able to do acute care consults and are interested in a high volume community care setting.
