ICBC Claims

Heart & Hands now offers direct billing with ICBC for Community Acupuncture and Cupping+Gua Sha sessions!

For patients who have been in accidents on or after April 1, 2019 this means:

  • You are automatically qualified for up to 12 acupuncture treatments which can be billed directly to ICBC at no out of pocket cost to you
    • Treatments can consist of acupuncture, cupping, or both
    • Treatments must occur in the 12 weeks immediately following your accident
    • If it has been more than 12 weeks since your accident you can still receive treatment but you must first be pre-approved by your ICBC claims adjuster
  • Extensions may be granted to continue beyond 12 treatments on a case-by-case basis

For clients who are on existing claims for accidents which occurred BEFORE April 1, 2019 you must first get pre-approval for treatments from your ICBC claims adjuster.
