How to book an appointment in JaneApp

  1. Click on the booking button below which will take you to our online booking;
  2. Choose the service, ie. “Community Acupuncture, Registered Counselling, Therapeutic massage, etc.;
  3. Choose the appointment type, ie. “NEW or RETURNING client, 30 minute massage, etc”;
  4. Choose the timeslot of your choice;
  5. At the end of the booking process, there is a section for “Reason for visit”, if necessary, include a short note for your practitioner outlining your main complaint(s);
  6. If you are NEW client to this service, please check your email. Your practitioner will email your online intake forms through JaneApp. Please complete them at least 12 hours before your scheduled appointment.
  7. If you cannot find the appointment time you need, you may be booking outside of your practitioner’s scheduled hours OR please use our waiting list;

Masking polices

We are one of the few practices in Victoria that still prioritizes the safety of immunocompromised folks. Our treatment spaces (ie. Community Acupuncture room) will remain mask mandatory as we are a community health setting and out of consideration of your fellow clients, customers, staff and practitioners are medically vulnerable.

As we have learned, COVID transmission as well as other airbourne viruses are not seasonal and folks have been contracting and transmitting illness continuously all year around. Reducing and preventing transmission of respiratory viruses is our priority.

We thank you in advance for your consideration, because immunocompromised people matter. If you forget your mask, as always, we will have medical masks available for $2.

Late policies

Commencing January 15th, we are raising our late fee to $5 to adequately compensate our Acupuncturists for having to rush and juggle more to stay on schedule due to late clients.

In order to keep our rates affordable, we depend on our clients to arrive on time so we can stay on track with our 4-5 clients / hour capacity. We have 15 minutes allotted to each client, so when you arrive 5, 10 minutes late, the amount of time your acupunk has to work with you gets shorter and shorter….

Out of consideration for your Acupuncturist, your fellow acu-nappers and the quality of the care we provide, here are a few things we need our client base to support us with:

  • Clients arriving 5+ minutes late will be charged $5.
    This can be avoided if you call us to let us know you are running late, 250-590-3185.
    Please note, repeat offenders will be charged the late fee.
  • You should be IN your recliner at the start of your appointment time. Clients should be arriving at least 5 minutes before so they have time for payment, bathroom, etc.
  • Being late cuts short not only the amount of time your acupunk has to work with you and unfairly cuts into the appointment time of the client booked after you. Please be respectful of everyone’s time.
  • When you receive your email appointment reminders 36 hrs before your scheduled timeslot, OPEN your email to confirm your appointment DATE + TIME.
  • If you do not use or regularly check your email, please put systems in place to remind yourself of the appointment you have booked.

Be accountable for the timeslot you have booked, as our scheduling is limited.
Out of respect for your practitioner and your fellow clients, help us help you get the treatment you need. Do your part and BE ON TIME.

How to use our wait list

Can’t the appointment time you need?

  1. Select the appointment type you are hoping to book.
  2. To access our wait list, it is located at the bottom LEFT of our booking page.
  3. Set the client type (new, returning, etc.) as well as the required time frame.
  4. We will call you if a suitable time slot opens up!

Please complete the wait list request thoroughly so you get the appointment time you need!
