H&H Story from S.G.

Heart & Hands has been a source of support and stability for me in so many ways over the past 4 years. I am fortunate to work so close to such a wonderful local business. I’ve had a very tumultuous few years with emotional and physical health issues. This came with some financial strain as well, and I am so grateful for Heart & Hands and the affordable care it provides.

I have suffered from depression and anxiety, digestive problems, really bad PMS, and intense stress and sought assistance from every single one of the practitioners at H&H: acupuncture, massage, herbal medicine, naturopathy, workshops…all of ’em! And they have all been wonderful.

I have a phobia of intravenous needles and because of that have a hard time with certain acupuncture points on my arms. All of the acupunks at H&H have been kind and patient with me and are always willing to try to find an alternate point.

Jenny’s tinctures are so helpful, I have purchased them for friends on many occasions and they were very well received. I have a cabinet full of both her dropper bottles and a couple of custom blends. When I saw Brewster for Naturopathy, she was so patient and kind and attentive. I felt extremely comfortable and would recommend her to anyone.

There is no way I would have been able to afford these services were it not offered in the manner that it is – affordable to begin with, and then on a sliding scale.

During my recent stress, move and financial strain I was really fortunate to be able to volunteer with Heart & Hands which gave me a calm, kind place to go for a bit every Saturday where I felt good about my contribution to the clinic and it’s patients. It also helped me because in exchange for volunteering, I received free acupuncture that I would not have been able to afford at the time; a time I really needed it.

I regularly refer people to the clinic and will absolutely continue to do so. It’s a little drop of sunshine downtown and I don’t know where I would be right now without it and the support of it’s caring practitioners. I really can’t say enough nice things about you folks. It’s one of my favorite places to be.

So much love for you guys! Thank you for all you do!
