Community Acupuncture fundraiser in benefit of International Committee of the Red Cross

Heart & Hands would like to do our part in raising funds for the ongoing humanitarian crisis taking place in Gaza, the West Bank and other regions of the illegally occupied Palestinian Territories. The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) was specifically selected as they provide relief efforts on the ground in numerous conflict zones globally, the intention is to ensure our donated funds will go to where the need is the greatest.

Back in October, we were also harassed online by strangers who were angered by our pro-Palestinian posters and what better way to celebrate this political discourse by running a fundraiser! We continue to share online resources in the hopes that our international community and global leaders will push for a ceasefire to put an end to this senseless violence and loss of life. Always and forever, FREE PALESTINE.

Our regular $30-60 sliding scale will be available Thursdays 10am – 2pm

The ICRC provides humanitarian protection and assistance for victims of war and other situations of violence.

In Israel and the occupied territories, the ICRC strives to make a difference in people’s lives through its activities and programmes. We visit detainees, reunite families, support livelihood projects, and help improve access to essential services, like water and electricity. Above all, we stand up for people and promote their rights and dignity.

The ICRC have been present in Israel and the occupied territories since 1967 and work with the Palestine Red Crescent Society and Magen David Adom in Israel. The ICRC has offices in Tel Aviv, the West Bank and Gaza.
