Welcome Sarah Strohan, R.Ac.!
Excited to welcome the newest member of the H&H acupunking team!
Please welcome Sarah Strohan, R.Ac. who will be commencing sub hours in our community acupuncture practice in August!
Sarah has spent the past 5 years studying Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at Pacific Rim College, in Victoria BC. Her journey with acupuncture has helped her through her own personal struggles with reproductive health, digestive problems, chronic pain and stress. She has been both an avid acu-napper and volunteer at Heart & Hands and is ecstatic to join the acupunk team!
Originally from Saskatoon, Sarah has been a member of the Victoria community for 12 years. Passionate about accessible health care, she has worked in a variety of community clinic settings, including the student clinic at Pacific Rim College and The Victoria Native Friendship Centre. She believes holistic health care should be accessed by those who need it, and not just those who can afford it.
Sarah has a special interest in pregnancy and reproductive health. She will be working at The Midwives Collective, in addition to Heart & Hands. She will be furthering her skill set through the Maternity Acupuncture Mentoring & Peer Support Program with expert practitioners in the field of pregnancy and acupuncture.
When she isn’t studying TCM herbs or poking she enjoys cooking, spending time with friends, going to movies and being outdoors.
