A jarring and disappointing Tuesday morning :(

At 5:45am Tuesday March 3rd, Christina and Susan received a call from VicPD that the front door of the clinic was smashed in. Someone had thrown a brick through the window to unlock our door.

The city workers had been by to board up our door, but our front desk computer has been stolen. We have since called Allied Glass for an emergency repair, but because the window is a special order, we will need to wait till Friday for our poor door to be repaired. So, it might be a few days of wearing your shoes into the clinic room.

Fortunately, unfortunately, the damages incurred fall below our insurance deductible, so we’re on the hook for the aftermath, which is compounded by the expenses we hope to cover with our Indiegogo campaign.

This is a call to our community that if they are able to support, to send funds through our campaign page. These funds will be put towards repairs and replacement of equipment in addition to the expenses for our non-profit transition.

And of course, one of the best ways to support us is to keep coming in for your regular acupuncture sessions. We are picking ourselves up and running business as usual despite this setback.
