Until we meet again
“All that you Touch
You Change
All that you Change
Changes you”

Beloved Heart & Hands community,
I am writing to express a deep gratitude as I say a heartfelt l’hitraot, à la prochaine, hasta la próxima, until we meet again.
My partner and I have decided to pack up our lives and drive up to the Yukon in August to spend a year in Tr’ondëk Hwëchin territory (Dawson City). While I will miss Heart and Hands, my community and the land, I am so grateful for this privilege to witness the magic of the north and shake things up!
And so, my last day at Heart and Hands will be on Thursday July 29th, 2021.
If you are a client who hasn’t come for a session in a while, a current client or a prospective client, I’d love to give you the opportunity to book in before I leave. If you are unable to find a time or date that works for you within my posted schedule, or would like to book more sessions than are available, please connect with me to find a time that works for you. Keep in mind it is best to leave a few weeks between sessions to allow for integration.
To my clients past and present; to those of you who have been coming to see me since I began my Craniosacral journey and to my new clients; to each of you who have built trust and safety with me and with yourselves; to you who have lay on my table and allowed the work to unfold – thank you. Thank you for letting me witness you. It has been a true honour.
I recognize that it is both brave and vulnerable to be in a BCST session, to turn toward ourselves and allow someone else to hold space for our unwinding. I am so moved by each of you and I have learned a great deal from working with you. I will sure miss being on your team. I trust you will continue to heal and grow, to shed and integrate, to transform and be transformed. Thank you for trusting me to work with your children, for referring me to your partners, neighbours, cousins, friends, and clients.
I can’t express enough gratitude to Owner/Operator, Christina Chan, R.Ac, the acu-punk team over the years, and the community of Heart & Hands for being such a huge support of my practice from the very start. Throughout my craniosacral studies I was invited to use the space for free while I fulfilled my practicum hours and then to continue at Heart & Hands once I was ready to open my practice. Christina has offered me both an online and physical platform to share my work, fixed doors, built shelves, referred her clients to me and most importantly created a culture at Heart & Hands where my LGBTQIA2S+ communities feel welcome, celebrated and comfortable to access safe(r) care. I am forever grateful to Christina for continuing to do the work of being a small business owner, despite all the challenges it brings especially throughout managing her health complications as well as during a pandemic, for being a comrade and a friend.
May all the generosity and care return to both Christina and the clinic ten fold!
Heart & Hands is a really special spot and I encourage everyone to not take it for granted. These are challenging times. Show your support while supporting your own health by booking in for regular acupuncture! Click here to book an acu-nap while it’s on your mind and at your fingertips.
Looking forward to seeing many of you before I journey north and stay tuned for my practitioner referrals list coming soon!
In gratitude,
Aviva Ciplinski, BCST
