A HUGE thanks to all the acu-nappers who joined our napping party Sept 7, 14, 21 and 28!
Esp with the rising numbers of cancellations due to illness, this was no small feat!
Not only did you support yourselves, you also supported a vital community resource that provides low barrier access to food at a particularly difficult time with inflation and growing socioeconomic inequality :(
We raised $500 this September for Community Food Support Victoria!

Community Food Support Victoria is a group of dedicated volunteers who acknowledge that COVID-19 has only exacerbated existing food insecurity and inequality within our community. We aim to support folks in accessing food while making the process as barrier free as possible. Everyone in the community deserves access to healthy food.
Our goal is to make food free and accessible to those who need it. This is a community response premised on mutual aid rather than charity, we are not a non-profit or a business.
Our organization is premised on values of mutual aid, anti-racism, decolonization, anti-capitalism, anti-ableism, queer positivity, and non-hierarchical community support.
They currently coordinate TWO services: (1) Food Delivery and (2) Community Fridge, accessible 24/7 located at 2725 Rock Bay Ave.
