I am so so glad that spaces like Heart & Hands exist to bring us back into our embodied energy and wisdom.

From my very visit, Heart and Hands made their way into my gratitude practice – I can feel myself loving me every time I am there. I have felt safe and held by every practitioner I’ve worked with, and the impacts of this healing modality have been deeply felt in a short time. I also adore their anti-capitalist and community values, and I can see they are a collective who actions their values (like masking to protect the immuno-compromised and offering accessible pricing).

After completing EMDR therapy recently,  I could feel that my body was ready to let go of a lot of trauma energy. Cupping and Gua Sha with JO has especially been such a complementary treatment for opening the body’s energy channels to release trauma and grief. I stand taller and shine brighter, and have seen significant improvements to chronic pain and fatigue after treatments.

As trauma survivors understand, sometimes parts of our life story is not written by us. We would not have chosen these stories for ourselves, or the healing that’s demanded by them. What we can choose is how we show up for ourselves after the impacts of trauma, and I am so so glad that spaces like Heart & Hands exist to bring us back into our embodied energy and wisdom. The body does not lie. Do yours a favour, and take good care of it with the amazing folks at Heart & Hands.

I can’t say enough nice things,

E.P.
