In a moment of joyous abandonment, after an intense retreat for people living with metastatic cancer, I did a sloppy version of a cartwheel, my first in decades. A couple of days later, the pain in my arm was keeping me up at night.
Luckily, I was able to book in with Jade right away and experience immediate relief. Jade has worked on me for a while and has always been knowledgeable and in tune with the bodily wear and tear of ongoing cancer treatment, plus the cozy atmosphere of the community acu-nap room is such a nice, therapeutic counter to the sterility of the medical model of care.
