I wanted to send along a quick update!

My waters broke at midnight after our last session on Friday the 31st. Still, nothing much happened contraction wise and I had to be induced on Monday Nov 3 at 5pm via misopropal, which is an oral pill. They told me it usually takes a few doses administered every 4 hours, but the first dose worked and I had a very fast labour and sweet C was born at 11:58pm. I was able to do it without an epidural like I wanted, and it was a really amazing experience.

Even though acupuncture didn’t end up getting the contractions going, I think it must have been helping with many of the other components because after that first nudge my body totally knew what to do.
