We have moved to 2612 Quadra St., just north of Kings Ave., on the ground floor of Blue Bird Cabs!
Here are the father and son contractor duo behind the INCREDIBLE transformation of this once 2200 sq ft vacant dusty shell. After Christina noticed the For Lease sign and she went running across Quadra St to press her face up against the glass back in March…she scribbled a rough floor plan on the piece of…
Another reno sneak peek… Christina with the guidance of the talented @noahweaves have created something pretty special for the future Community Acupuncture room at 2612 Quadra St. Using chicken wire, 100% wool roving from Alberta sheep and skillful, dextrous hands the two of them created dreamy, fluffy clouds. They will be used to conceal some of…
Heart & Hands has been an integral part of my self-care and health-care through multiple chapters of my life. I first visited Heart & Hands as a stressed, anxious and overwhelmed student in 2018, and continued to go through career & life changes. Though I no longer live in Victoria, each time I am in…
This thank you card was gifted to Christina by a new acupuncture grad, Erica, who had the opportunity to participate in clinical observation and run our front desk reception from October 2023 – February 2024. Dear Christina,It’s been a real pleasure working alongside you these past few months. Thank you for giving me the incredible…
Well, since the cat’s outta the bag, we might as well show a wee sneak peek of how our renos are progressing… We’ve also had handful of clients walk by to check out the new space as well as many warm welcomes from business owners and residents in the Quadra Village neighbourhood. We can’t wait…

Working in community since 2009, I’ve witnessed A LOT in the past 14 yrs, touched thousands of pulses and provided a container for people to unravel and put themselves back together again. I am merely the facilitator, it is the client and their body’s inherent wisdom that does the heavy lifting. The work lies in…
This is another childhood favorite that I enjoyed during colder months, an especially popular dessert that we ate during Lunar New Year. These sticky rice dumplings (tang yuan), filled with slightly sweet black sesame and walnut paste, floating in a fragrant sweet ginger syrup are chewy, texturally satisfying, easily digestible and warming for your insides….
We can’t resonate more strongly with this poignant and realistic statement about care work, courtesy of the wonderful Radical Emprints. As tuck into what we hope will be a restful holiday season, this is a time to reflect back on the past year that is wrapping up. The countless hours of admin, charting, housekeeping, mountains of LAUNDRY,…
Despite us being in peak respiratory virus season, with tons of the flu, colds, pneumonia, RSV and COVID flying around, there is still a vocal minority who are staunchly and ill-advised against masking for their own safety and the safety of those around them. Heart & Hands is one of the few remaining practices in town…
