My experience doing dental hygiene treatment at H&H has been very rewarding.
The clientele who come through here are actively seeking health and are willing to work with me to achieve their optimal oral health. My rental fees for using the space are a percentage of what I bring in which makes it possible for me to practice here and set more accessible prices for clients, including the clause “pay what you can” for those who are financially stressed. My patients express so much gratitude for the treatment I am able to provide while working at H&H, it is a pleasure to be a part of this amazing health collective.
I think that H&H is an invaluable contribution to Victoria’s accessible health care and health consciousness. It’s a healing sanctuary in the middle of the city and I hope it can continue to flourish and grow in community.

Help us transition to non-profit!
As a tiny, values-based establishment in Downtown Victoria, it is no longer sustainable for us to remain as a business due to the rapidly rising cost of property tax. Hence, we are transitioning into a non-profit, a huge undertaking that will invest in our longevity. Then we can continue offering our vital and affordable services to the community as well as providing our practitioners with a living wage.
“Help us build H&H 2.0” is an online fundraising campaign running February 15 – March 20. We intend to raise a total of $15 000 = $12 000 for our 2020 property tax + $3000 for legal/accounting fees necessary for the non-profit transition.
